CASE 1: Engineering
Challenges FASHION & GARMENT SOLUTIONS Take the case of a client who had an urgent requirement for a limited quantity of boardshorts and t-shirts. The order was neither small nor feasible for mass production. Although these items were not our regular products we took on the challenge of sourcing the right manufacturers. Through our network of experienced merchandisers we were able to shortlist, compare and recommend a supplier for the exact products and quantities required, and at the right price. Another client came to us with a need for high quality bathrobes suitable for radiological use, such as for women undergoing breast cancer screenings. We approached a factory with a long and excellent track record. They have been highly proficient in producing related cut-and-sewn items, and sent over their designers to study the pattern of the bathrobe. Next, we sourced for a very comfortable organic fabric spun from natural bamboo fiber, and together with the factory’s superb samples, secured the order for our client on the first bid.
